Ancol Ergo Matt Splitter

The Ancol Ergo Matt Splitter easily slices through mats and tangles to gently remove them from your dog's coat. Featuring a honed stainless steel blade to cut through small knots to make brushing out easier, with a tapered safety guide to avoid accidentally cutting the skin. The tool has a rubberised, non-slip grip to provide a secure hold during use.

Directions for use

• Use a brush or comb to go through your dog's coat to locate matts and tangles.
• Place the base of the Matt Splitter on your dog's skin. Keep the Matt Splitter at an upright angle.
• With the tapered guide next to the matt, gently slide the Matt Splitter forwards into the matt. Be careful not to dig the Matt Splitter into the skin, this will cause discomfort.
• Move the Matt Splitter gently back and forth until it has cut through the matt.
• Do not use excessive force, work slowly and gently until the matt is removed.

Warning: This Matt Splitter contains a sharp blade, so please take care when using this product. Never use the Matt Splitter on folded skin or loose skin. Never lift or pull at your pet's fur while using the Matt Splitter. Never use the matt splitter at an angle. Make sure your dog is calm while you use the Matt Splitter. Keep this product away from children. Keep this product safely away from your pet when not in use.
