Many electrical products can be repaired, reused or recycled rather than sent to landfill. Recycling helps conserve natural resources and reduces the environmental impact associated with waste electrical equipment.
WEEE Compliance
In line with current Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations, Groomers Ltd offers customers a like-for-like take-back service on electrical and electronic products purchased from us.
To help identify items suitable for recycling, electrical equipment is marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Products displaying this symbol should not be disposed of with general household waste.
Groomers Recycling Programme
When purchasing a new electrical item from Groomers Ltd, you can return your old equivalent product to us for responsible disposal and recycling.
To arrange this:
- For telephone orders, simply advise our sales team at the time of ordering
- For online orders, respond to your order confirmation email
Our team will confirm that the item qualifies as a like-for-like return and provide further instructions for returning the product.
Please note that customers are responsible for any postage or carriage costs associated with returning items for recycling.
