Warranties apply to goods used for appropriate working practice such as motors, casing and leads. If however it is deemed an item has been misused or damaged then the warranty will be null and void. We reserve the right to contact an independent specialist to evaluate items in question. Evidence of this independent advice will be provided to the customer.

All Groomers branded items have a one-year warranty.

Scissors

Groomers Scissor Range

All Groomers scissors have been designed and engineered with quality materials, and are made to last. We monitor the quality of our products to ensure there are no workmanship issues present before sending them out, and are confident that our customers are getting the best product delivered to them; brand new, and in full working condition. Please check your scissors upon receipt before use for any damage, dents, scratches or nicks. 

If you do encounter any damage, all of our scissors come with a one-year warranty, which covers the replacement of scissors that are damaged due to manufacturing defaults. Our warranty does not cover accidental damage caused by the user from not following care guidelines, dropping, misusing, or damaging the item through regular wear and tear, or by incorrectly cleaning, tensioning, aligning or sharpening the scissors. Any sign of accidental damage will void the warranty.

We reserve the right to contact an independent specialist to evaluate items in question. Evidence of this independent advice will be provided to the customer.

Our warranty also does not include the re-sharpening, tensioning or aligning of scissors.

All faulty scissors must be returned back to Groomers via a tracked delivery service, and with proof of purchase enclosed. Upon inspection, if a manufacturing fault is found, the scissors will be replaced at no additional cost to the customer. It is the customer’s responsibility to send the item back to us at their own cost if it isn't faulty, as stated on our Terms and Conditions page.

Return and Exchange Policy:

Groomers understand the challenges of finding the perfect fit for your kit online. This is why we offer a 30-day exchange or refund policy if you aren’t 100% happy with your purchase. 

To exchange or return your product:

  1. Contact us by emailing: customer.service@groomers-online.com, or calling: 01635 581 958 to let us know whether you would like to make an exchange or refund. Please contact us within the first 7 days of receiving your scissors, as soon as you realise that you no longer want to keep them. We count the 7 days from when your parcel is marked as delivered to you via delivery service tracking.

    On the rare occasion that the item is received faulty, Customer Services will issue you with a prepaid label to post the scissors with. They will then test and investigate the product for an exchange/repair or refund. If, however, we find that the items returned have been damaged by the user, or are not re-sellable, Groomers reserve the right to deduct up to 20% off the original RRP.

  2. Send the scissors back to us via post. They will need to be sent via a tracked service, in their original packaging, including any accessories that came with the product. This includes cleaning cloths, tensioning keys, pouches, cases and sleeves. It is the customer’s responsibility to cover the cost of postage. To avoid damages in transit, please wrap the item well, preferably in bubble wrap, then use a strong box or jiffy bag to post back the item. 

  3. Once we receive the scissors and they have been assessed for any damage, we will either offer you an exchange with a product of your choice, or issue you with a refund. An exchange will be actioned once we have received the original product back in its undamaged condition.

  4. We will aim to refund all items within 48 hours of receipt (subject to our returns policy). Please allow 3-5 working days for the payment to reach your debit or credit card as standard. We can only refund any amount due on the card used for original payment.

  5. All Returns, Exchanges & Warranty claims must be posted back to us along with a purchase receipt, tracking number and Groomers Returns Form enclosed, so that we can process your return.
