Many of the electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save natural resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending waste electrical goods to landfill.
To comply with current environmental legislation for waste and electrical equipment (WEEE) Groomers Ltd. are able to offer all customers a like for like 'take back service' on any electrical, or electronic goods.
To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a cross-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.
Groomers Recycling Programme Explained
When purchasing any electrical or electronic item from Groomers Ltd. we will be happy to receive your old equipment for disposal and recycling.
At the time of placing an order simply let us know that you would like to send us a 'like for like' product for disposal. You can do this by advising the sales assistant (for telephone orders), or by putting a comment in the special instructions box (for internet orders). We will confirm that the item is a like for like product and you can then return your old item to us.
Please note that customers are responsible for any postal or carriage costs incurred in the return of items.
