Nelly went to Milton Keynes on Tuesday to do the BE90, she managed a 37 in the dressage, jumped clear with show jumping and had just a few time faults with the cross country – she was still a bit green at the beginning of the course. We got our first foundation point so I’m really pleased with her, she's improving so much and I cannot wait to move up to BE100.

Lottie went out and completed some dressage on Saturday. Our first test was not particularly successful – she just got a bit tense as usual. In the second test however it was like riding a completely different horse - she was calm and relaxed and performed well. We finished third here, a good result I think.

This show incorporated the second viewing trials for the Europeans. We only took Valentino and Cornetta here as Olympia is having a break from competing so she can compete throughout the winter season. On the first day Valentino had a double clear in the 1.35m and Cornetta had a clear round in the 1.40m which I was very pleased with.
