Evening primrose oil originates from the seeds of the Oenothera Biennis plant, native to North America. Also known as “king’s-cure-all”, “night willow” and “primrose tree”, the evening primrose oil (EPO) plant was introduce to Europe in 1614. The vitamin rich nature of EPO has now led to its use in beauty products and food supplements for both humans and animals alike.
