Festival Of Grooming 2016 – New Speakers!
We are very excited to announce three new speakers to our Festival Of Grooming line up!
This demonstration and seminar-packed event is all about helping professional pet groomers increase their knowledge in order to help them improve their grooming skills and their business in general.
We have already introduced five sensational speakers to the line up: Julie Harris, Colin Taylor, Plinio Icassati, Pammie Carmichael-Hogg and Trevor Cooper.
Here are our next three:
A creative grooming genius, Su spends much of her time training others in the art of Poodle grooming as well as judging and demonstrating at creative grooming competitions. As a creative groomer, Su is a multi-award winner. Her awards include first place in the Groomer to Groomer Creative Styling Competition at Groom Expo 2013, English Groomer of the Year, Irish Groomer of the Year and Creative Stylist of the Year. Su is part of the League of Extraordinary Groomers , with Joanne Beddoe and Tanya Stevens, who help to organise the Extraordinary Grooming Show; a competition specifically for creative groomers. Su has been on television and in the press for her work on creative grooming, trying to spread the word about how to practise it safely while getting a great result.Su has been involved with breeding and showing all kinds of dogs, including more recently, Poodles. Her talent in Poodle grooming has led to two terms as Groom Team England’s Poodle representative.
This highly esteemed hand stripping expert started competing in 2011 and has achieved reserve best in show in both Mastergroom and Premier Groom. She is currently a member of Groom Team England, representing the Hand Strip class.
Lesley is a terrier enthusiast, having handled and shown Norwich Terriers for Ragus Kennels and won many accolades in the process.
This talented, multi-award winning groomer runs the highly popular Dee For Dogs grooming school and salon. She is an examiner for City & Guilds Practical exams and a member of the Guild of Master Groomers. Dee is heavily involved within the grooming industry and is regularly invited to talk and demonstrate her skills at seminars and events like the Festival Of Grooming. Last year Dee won Premier Groomer Of The Year 2015 and this year she will be representing Groom Team England in the Poodle category.
