The London International Horse Show at Olympia 2013
The London International Horse Show is set to return to the Olympia Halls once again from the 16th – 22nd December 2013. Heralded as the British equestrian community’s Christmas party, Olympia is host to the UK’s only show jumping and dressage FEI World Cup Qualifiers, and this year will play host to the current Longines World number 1, 2 and 3 Scott Brash, Ben Maher and Ludger Beerbaum, who will all be competing at the event.
Expect a celebratory event of top class sporting action, along with thrilling displays and Christmas entertainment. The seven-day show will offer a variety of exciting classes, with World Cup Qualifiers in show jumping and dressage.
Competition highlights include:
- Tuesday 17th – Reem Acra FEI World CupTM Dressage Leg
- Thursday 19th – Extreme Driving FEI World CupTM
- Saturday 21st – The Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping Leg presented by H&M
- Sunday 22nd – The Olympia Grand Prix
Other highlights include the ever popular Shetland Pony Grand National, the Alltech Christmas Puissance, the Christmas finale entitled It’s a Dickens of a Christmas, and dog agility competitions from the Kennel Club. The event will also play host to over 200 stalls in the interactive shopping village, along with a wide variety of cafes and restaurants, including a champagne bar.
