Groomers 2013 Highlights
Groomers Crufts Win. Jilly the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen may have won Best in Show, but at this year’s Crufts, Groomers also picked up an award for Best Medium Trade Stand. This was a real honour, and a great reward for all our preparation and hard work.
Groomers Catalogue Launch. We also launched our annual catalogue in March – our largest yet at over 225 pages and with 250 new products. Watch out for our new catalogue early in 2014!
English Groomers Challenge. This successful event took place for the first time this year over two days, with Groomers sponsoring the Best in Show prize, won by Sara Hussein.
Festival of Grooming 2014 Announcement. After a year’s hiatus, we confirmed the return of our popular Festival of Grooming event for 2014. Next year’s event will take place at the Belfry once again from 18th – 20th July. More news on the event is set for release in the New Year!
Cat Range Launched. In October we launched our first range of products specifically developed for use with felines. Consisting of two shampoos, a conditioner and a treatment spray, the range is already popular, and caters to the growing demand for professional cat grooming services. See the entire range here.
British Dog Grooming Championships. Always a highlight in the grooming calendar, the British Dog Grooming Championships were even bigger this year, at their new venue at Bingley Hall. Congratulations to Mike Wildman, who won his second Best in Show prize of the year at the event.
Groomers Festive Fragrances Return. Our popular range of Christmas-themed fragrances made a welcome comeback this festive season, filling salons across the country with the scent of orange and cinnamon, spiced apple and nutmeg.
End of the Showing Year. We have had another packed show diary this year, fitting in the Ladies Kennel Association Competition in December. This was our 16th and final show of year – we look forward to many more in 2014!
