Equine First Aid Kit Suggestions
In spite of safe environments, even careful horse owners can occasionally find themselves needing to administer basic first aid. It is important to be prepared – every horse owner should have a kit for treating injuries in an emergency.
Keep first aid equipment in a clean box with a secure lid. Include a table of contents, and replace items when used. You should also include telephone numbers for your vet, farrier and insurance company, and ensure you take your kit with you to shows or when travelling.
