Servicing & Repairs

Services & repairs normally take 14 days from receipt of goods, depending on availability of parts. Items are dealt with in order of receipt and we aim to have your item returned to back to you as quickly as we possibly can. Please complete all parts of the form below to help us deal with your servicing or repair as promptly as possible. Make sure you provide full & current contact details. No item will be despatched without receipt of payment.

A charge is levied for the servicing of terms outside of warranty and for items repaired outside of our normal guarantees. This does not affect your statutory customer rights. If the cost of the service or repair is outside of the following guideline then you will be contacted for permission to proceed and a 50% part payment will be requested.

Standard Clipper service FROM £30.00 (including VAT) + parts + return postage

Standard Blaster/Dryer service FROM £42.00 (including VAT) + parts + return postage

Double Dryer service FROM £66.00 (including VAT) + parts + return postage

Please DO NOT send any furniture (blades, hoses, stands etc) with your item for servicing or repair.

Please ensure your item is packed in the following way:

  • Ensure the clipper or dryer is clean, dry and free from hair. We reserve the right to decline to service or repair an item which does not comply with the Health and Safety Act 1974. If your item is not clean we will contact you and give you the option of paying a separate cleaning charge of £10.00
  • Remove the stand and nozzles/hoses from dryers and any blades from clippers.
  • To avoid damage, wrap the item well in bubble wrap or similar before putting it in a strong box. Pack tightly so it cannot move around in transit.
  • Tape the box using strong tape and then wrap in plastic to avoid water damage if transiting in bad weather.
  • Address the box clearly with both the delivery address and sender details.
  • Include our servicing form (see above).

We highly recommend sending your item by registered post or courier so you are able to track your package should it go astray.

Warranties

Please note that warranties are not valid on any item shipped outside of the United Kingdom. Most manufacturers have their own warranty terms as detailed on-line or in our catalogue as part of the product details.

Warranties apply to goods used for appropriate working practice such as motors, casing and leads. If however it is deemed an item has been misused or damaged then the warranty will be null and void. We reserve the right to contact an independent specialist to evaluate items in question. Evidence of this independent advice will be provided to the customer.

Groomers branded items have a 1-year warranty.
